For 2024 Greater Portland Landmarks is pleased to bring back a holiday tradition, Portland Observatory Lantern Tours.

Each 25 minute tour slot takes a holiday stroll up the stairs of the 86-foot-tall tower, stopping at two floors to hear our wonderful docents share a brief holiday story. At the top, you and your group will be able to take in the views and see Portland and her waterfront shining bright in the nighttime sky.

Please note, there is no heat in the Observatory, dress warmly for outdoor-like temperatures during the tour. All tours will leave promptly at the ticketed time.

This special experience is $10 per person. Each tour slot is limited to just 10 people. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tours are available December 12, 13, and 14 and begin at 5:30 pm.
